ABOUT US

Stepping Stones Academy was created to pair academic learning and hands-on experiences to nurture children's intellectual growth while being kids. Our program will allow your children to discover, think, act, play, learn, and grow in a myriad of ways.

Ashlee Swensen has been teaching children for more than 20 years. Ashlee studied Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development at Utah State University. Her experience in teaching has provided her with a background in phonics and early educational development. Ashlee has combined her years of experience with different philosophies and activities to create her own curriculum and teaching methods. Using her loving and nurturing style, children flourish in her classes and feel loved and welcome at class. Ashlee is a mother of 4 children and loves all outdoor activities but her favorite is spending hot summer days on the boat at a lake.

OUR PROGRAMS

Stepping Stones Academy offers two programs for preschool children. Each program will allow learning through the use of music, games, hands-on activities, and dramatic play. The programs are academically focused but also empower your child to be an independent and confident member of society.

At Stepping Stones Academy, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Preschool offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease. Our goal is for your child to leave our school confident in who they are and what they can contribute to their community, family, and their world.
